Hello everyone…..
California Van Cowan’s back after a good Tax season…. biggrin.gif
RD, Jerry, Keith and Myself took off for Rattlesnake Canyon last week on Thursday. We wanted to hit the area around Charles’s Cabin again.
I met RD at the end of the road (where it turns to dirt) and we started in toward charles’s cabin. We started hunting around the drywasher piles there and it was not long before Keith got his first one, a nice chunky little nugget. tongue.gif We hunted there all day, with a few rest breaks in between. The take for the day was four for Keith with his GM3 rolleyes.gif and I was able to scare a little Nuglet (not big enough to be called a nugget) out of the ground. I had picked up a GMT VLF machine and was using it for the first time. RD and Jerry decided To get theirs on another day. The weather was great, the company was great, it was an all around good day, Anyone in the So Cal area that would like to tag along are more then welcome. I took some photos but don’t know how to post them. I’ll try to Email them to someone that can help me.

Van, Good to hear from you again. You've been real quiet for a while. Glad you had a good trip.--Bob
