Chris, I know you are getting ready to go to the land Down under,I hope you find a big nugget, but I was wondering, why don't you Pin this Forest Service Reg, With the sample letter that reno Chris wrote? I have wrote my letters, and I'm concerned about our great hobbie. It would be better if it was pinned, so people that are not normaly on the forum to fine, as I have told many clubs and organizations to go to yours and Bills to see for them selves. Everyone up here, and in the club down south is outraged, at this new regulation. Grubstake

Great idea, this is an important issue that prospectors everywhere need to be aware of. If these regulations continue the recreational/independent miner may one day become an endangered species. I thank Reno Chris for sharing this valuable info. and providing us all with a example letter to work from, I have mine stamped and ready to go out in the mail today!
