I am very interested to see the new B.J. coils coming out in fiberglass coverings.

As an avid Amateur Radio operator(W6PU) and antenna builder, I have used large fiberglass poles, Approx. 14Ft. long, 1.75" diameter by Approx. 1/16" wall thickness in the construction of my rotary (4 El. Quad) antennas. Some of those fiberglass poles had been up for 20 years in Southern CA. , with no sign of deterioration to to ultra violet, and no apparent loss of their mechanical integrity!

I believe that fiberglass is an excellent material for these new B.J. search coils. Just my two cents worth!
