Snakes And what they can do...

SNAKES............. Well, I really was worried about them hunting in the dark and think I will wait until cooler WX or hunt during the heat of the day. I saw a side-winder last thrusday here in NV, and only the second rattle snake up on the range where we work in about 13 years.

Here is a photo of a buddy of mine that got tagged by one (Rattle Snake that is) at Vandenberg, CA . If I remeber it right, it hit him three times. The medical folks gave him penicillin, he's allergic. And something to the tune of 18 viles of anti-venom. Makes you not want to go outside..... Jason

Get a good pair of snake boots and forget about them!
Dont be one of the ones that think it will never happen to me types.

Around here we have the Green Mojove to watch out for as well as reg old rattlers bcot.

Dennis, I've got them too. And yes, he's ok. This was about, three years ago out in California. But for some reason he's attracted to small rodents for dinner...Jason dry.gif

If he got bit on his ass I don't think snake chaps would have helped...be careful where you squat...
