Last weekend my friend Harley and I went out for a hunt with Grubstake. We didn't find gold but we helped him get rid of some nails and other trash so he should be closer to that ouncer. Aside of wanting a piece of that amazing gold he has coming out of the I was working on something else a personal goal of finding my 100th nugget while detecting. Most of my gold from the past has come from dredging and such. At that time I was on nugget # 97. Well got out today and found 3 little pieces. Now I'm celebrating the birth of my 100th detecting nugget biggrin.gif I know alot of you might have found this many nuggets it has takin me 4 years to get here (winter time only) but dam it feels good. Now if I can get to 100 ounces!

Nice going, sorry you guys did not get over one here, there still there, but getting harder to find. I bet we all went around that bush where Shep found his 1/2 ozer at least a dozen times and missed it. Just the luck of the draw I guess, still good to have hunted with you guys. I wish you pounds, not oz's Grubstake

Congrats Dustin, I still hope to get together on a hunt with you when the weather gets better, it seems as though winter has finally arrived here as I am buried under eight inches of snow. It'll probably melt off pretty quick though. Been doin winter time prospectin on the computer and found quite a few new places to check out. Take care my friend, Chris Hays

Dustin,
Congradulations! Those are some nice nuggets, I even recognize a few! What is the total weight for the lot? How many of those were found with the GPX4000 and what were the settings on the detedtor? Is that big nugget the one you are getting made into a pendant? Very nice.

Matt I not totally sure but i think I found 16 or 17 with the 4000. You should be push 2 to 300 right? The big one is 12.4 dwt. Pendant some day or maybe I'll find one bigger. How you doing with the 4000?
