Joe,
I think this whole thread “Playing by the Rules” has its positives and its negatives. And they are only between the people involved, not us. The last two comments on that thread were in favor of Chris. I don’t understand why you should lock the thread until Chris gets back from his vacation, there’s nothing that he really needs to comment on.

I still say that none of this is our business. We started out with the pick episode with Doc, and then moved on to the JP episode with not carrying AZO product and now we’re left with Grubstake’s statements. And sure we love Doc, we love JP, we love Grubstake and we love Chris. But then we have these individuals that pop off really quick without understanding the situation, I still don’t understand it.

I still like Doc, still like Chris, still like Grubstake and still like JP and the list goes on… But one of my favorites is Steve Gholson, I’m not going into what I have said before, but he has a great way of explaining things. He really has impressed me with his ability to take the complicated and simplify it into diversity.

The rules are never fair. Hey it’s not the NSA or CIA or FBI or East Germany or North Korea… We are all friends I hope; can’t we all just get along?? smile.gif Closing that thread until Chris gets back to comment... well he just doesn’t really need to comment because they were all in his favor.

But this is America, freedom of speech. Let’s discuss this, that what this forum is all about... Discussion and freedom of speech

In the end, we’re all friends and we all have our ups and downs…. Now let’s go out and find some gold!

Cheers
Johnno

"The last two comments on that thread were in favor of Chris. "

I don't think I stated I was in favor of Chris, I just do not have an opinion of him at this point since I have not done business with him.

" I don’t understand why you should lock the thread until Chris gets back from his vacation, there’s nothing that he really needs to comment on."

That is correct. There is nothing that needs comment on. Let it die. That is what I am saying and nothing else needs to be said about this.

Johnno,

Whether the last 2 posts were positive or not, there was a potential for another negative post and I don't think it would be fair for that to happen without Chris here to reply if need be. I agree with you that these business decisions and dealings are none of our business, but like you said, freedom of speech is a great thing at that is why I think it was a good choice for Chris to leave the thread up instead of deleting it.

But since the whole thread was started about Chris, I think it's only fair to leave it locked since he is away until the 13th of this month. And if there is nothing else to comment on, there really should be no issue in having it locked until he returns.

This puts a bad taste in my mouth!
I think if Chris was woried about it he would of locked it before he left.
Let it ride it could turn posative and work everything out.

I gess Joe had to show us that he is in charge now blink.gif

Matt,

It has nothing to do with being in charge. The thread had really died down before he left. We talked about it and decided that if it came back up again to lock it until he gets back.

This is Chris's forum and it's up to him what I do or don't do while he's away, so it in no way was done without his permission.
