Been checking out a new claim a friend and I aquired a while back, the nuggets are scarce. I know more will turn up once I get the secret to the place figured out. Found an old bottle and a token the other day so it gives me some kind of idea when it was worked in the past. The token had a name on it that I searched for on the internet but I didn't come up with much, in the center it also said "Portland Fair 1905". This was the year that Portland celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
Here are a couple of pictures of the pieces I've found so far, both with a 4000 and a 14NFSL mono.

Mugsy. The picture didn't come through , but thanks for the post about the Oregon Nuggets. I know that lots of them are found in Oregon every year, but we just don't hear much about them. Token sounds neat also.---Bob
