Howdy fellow prospectors, smile.gif

What a gorgeous weekend here in the fabled Coeur d'Alene gold country of north Idaho! Alas, there was still too much wretched snow (that's right, wretched! mad.gif ) in the nooks and crannies of the back country for me to blaze a trail to a new nugget patch, so the old patch had to suffice for today's nuggetshooting adventure. Luckily, I was able to squeeze out a shiny yellow little dink just in time to kill the skunk. cool.gif Good luck out there!

That's what I'm talkin' about. Any gold is alot better than NO gold. I would be happy if I could find a little piece every time I went out. I know it doesn't happen that way, but it would be nice. We can only hope and dream. Good going Lunk, keep it up.

Lunk. I know what you mean. Yesterday I chased a tiny dink around for 20 minutes with my big round coil. I was about to leave it although I was 99% sure it was gold, but I persisted with the sweat running in my eyes because I was determined not to eat the skunk. It was kind of ironic because it was only a few feet from where I got the big one on Easter. Back to reality!!!----Bob

Lunk, don't feel bad about the lttle ones. Sandtrap and I went out to the El Paso's this morning unfortunately Sandtrap didn't find any gold but he sure cleaned up on trash. He did his good deed for the environment. cool.gif I got lucky and kept the skunk at bay with a small .43 gram nugget. If you can call one that small a nugget.
It was real good to get to hunt with you sandtrap. We'll have to do it again sometime, only next time you kill the skunk.

Way to go Lunk. I tried to get out to Silver City in SW Idaho yesterday but the passes are still snowed in down here.

Hey Montana, I know what YOU mean; sometimes it can be a real chore to get those teeny-weenies into the scoop! Keep on raking 'em in... smile.gif

Mr. Slim: It certainly was a record-breaking winter for snow; it will definitely be awhile before its all gone.

Sourdough: WTG buddy! Don't feel bad; mine is only 0.24 of a gram... blink.gif Say "HI" to Sandtrap for me!

CDA Shane: Next one's yours, man! wink.gif
