I have been getting 4000's consistently for under $2500, many with a great collection of coils. But I must admit they do not come with training from a *^@$$*_*^

That will be a good trick if you get that price out of a 4000, when you can buy a complete 4500 package for only 500 more.
GRUBBY THERE IS NO MORE OF THEM PACKAGES AVAILABLE...GO CHECK E BAY

Work is only a diversion of time after I get bored with detecting for gold nuggets, hunting whitetails, fishing fresh and salt water, tying flies, biking, hiking, kayaking, orienteering, ice fishing, treasure hunting with my detector, beach hunting with my detector!

Oakwoodtrucker. The mentioned dealers are selling them for the advertized price to legitimate U.S. buyers who have their names on the waiting list as they come available and the waiting list has top priority. They can sell all they can get their hands on without dealing with brokers who would be sending them overseas to be resold at who knows what price on the blackmarket. Their dealer agreement discourages foreign sales as Minelab tries to keep some sort of order in their dealer network. ---Bob

Yup, I personally know of a dealere, that has a 4500 brand new, with all the extras in stock right now, For that price of $4495.00 as avertised. If I had the money, I could get it. But I don't so I'll have to use my 4000, that I have. its used but new to me and was only $2500.00 Grubstake In case your wondering, a very ,very good friend loaned me the money to get it. I didn't have a dime when it came up for sale, but then thats why we have friends. that are special. Very special as a matter of fact. Grubstake
