Here's a very short video of a lil nug I scored with the GPX 5000 last week. Too bad I didn't have more time! I want his friends too!

Cannon balls, coins and secret nun treasures?
busspass posted a topic in AZO’s: Coin & Relic Hunter’s Forum
I couldn't make it up if I tried. This was one of the oddest hunts I've been on. Ran into some interesting people with even more interesting stories. We were led on a wild goose chase for treasures hidden by nun at a nunnery. Again Couldn't make it up if I tried. Ended up cruising around looking for a spot. Wound up finding what appeared to be a cannon ball in the middle of the city. Found some nice silver and a wicked awesome pool hall token. Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. I'll be trying to catch up now that its cold out. Thanks for watching! Stay warm! -
Sorry it took soooo long! Here's a street tear out that we stumbled upon and ended up being the stuff dreams are made of. It's out there! I promise! Keep it low and swing it slow! Please like and subscribe for more vids!

I'd like to thank everyone here on the forum for all of the great info! Without you it would have taken me much longer to tame the CTX. Here's the rundown of my year with the CTX. Thanks again! Here's to another great year! -

Sweet token! -
Well, here's the video of my hunt from a week or two ago. The day started off awesome. The wife was going to drop me off at a spot for a bit and I was fully anticipating to hunt an 1887 property in my area that I obtained permission on. After I arrived the home owner decided to change her mind about letting me detect. My wife drove off before I could catch her and she left her cell phone at home. Sooooooo... I hiked about a mile in the July heat to a "plan B" location. After pulling a bunch of weeds and cursing, I turned lemons into lemonade. Not the funnest hunt ever but hey... I got my 100th silver coin on the year. That dang seated still managed to escape me but oh well. Next time... Next time. Keep low and swing it slow.

This is what makes all those pull tabs worth it. Being able to help this lovely young lady find her rings. She lost 3 rings while sun bathing in the yard. Her dad found one with the mower and then she called us. I'm glad we didn't have to do the walk of shame after this hunt! Haha! Happy Hunting. Keep it low and swing it slow my friends.
