Political Statement ... Romney VP announced

Recommended Posts

Well folks it is here ... finally Romney has announced his running mate ... in my mind an excellent choice to rjuvenate this country ... Paul Ryan was my second choice for VP but I love the reasoning for the choice ... our country will be in good hands with the Romney-Ryan ticket in the White House come January 20 2013. He is a family man, a hunter, a fisherman and and avid outdoorsman ... just what we need to stop the erosion of our rights to public lands ... and most importantly he is a reformist at heart ... believes in smaller government and has proven he wants and will get the USA back on a balanced budget!!!

I hope you will join me on November 6, 2012 when we go to the polls in the most important election in my lifetime and vote the Republican conservative reform ticket of Romney-Ryam.

Well, guess I will throw my 1/2 cent in.........all I got left!

I will vote Rep. as I do not like the underlying motives of the Dems.

I feel either party is going to rape the little guy....just in different ways.

We do have to get this current admin. out as they are selling us down the drain

with all thier programs to help them get re-elected.

Unfortunatly............I think this turd will get back in office because there are so many unemployed, dont want to work, illegal alliens, dont give a crap,...I want free gov. money, voters that will put him back in.

I hang my head in shame as to what our country has become.

I really hope there are enough hard working people out there that will vote the turd out.

I admit Romny is not my first pick...but Barry Goldwater could not be reached to run this time. I understand Ryan goes noodling when he is in Oklahoma. Anybody that has the cohones to stick his hand in a hole to try and catch a big catfish has my vote....look it up he really does it. I heard him speak at the Texas GOP convention in June and he lit everyone up. There were many there that would not mind flipping the ticket.

Make Obama one term.

There's a Big Ol' Sign when i went thru Texas on I-40 that said "Anybody But Obama"..... If we don't get out and vote in November we may never get the chance again.

And Adam ... where on the AZO forum would you suggest? Classified? ... Nope I'm not selling our country short ... Obama and company are doing a fine job of that already! Coin, Treasure and Relic? Well yes ... we have coins of the realm and this country is a treasure but it sure isn't a relic! Sportsman's? ... Hunting and Fishing and all other sports implies a set of personal ethics no matter the sport ... Obama has no ethics so can't put it there ... just wouldn't be fair to all of us who have high ethical standards! Gold Forum? ... Well why not R & R are solid gold for the Country to maintain the USA as the best in the world! Yup ... I got the post in the right forum! :) :) :)

The $50 Lesson

Recently, while I was working in the flower beds in the front yard, my neighbors stopped to chat as they returned home from walking their dog. During our friendly conversation, I asked their little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, "If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?" She replied... "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people." Her parents beamed with pride! "Wow...what a worthy goal!" I said. "But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that!" I told her. "What do you mean?" she replied. So I told her, "You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and trim my hedge, and I'll pay you $50. Then you can go over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out and give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house." She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?" I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party." Her parents aren't speaking to me anymore.

I've always voted GOP...Nov won't be any different for me. If there are any voters still on the fence on this one, let me make it a little easier by saying ...vote for the side that Barney Frank is NOT ON!!!!

I believe that the Democrats are thugs, the Liberals are braindead, the Republicans are thieves, but smart enough to give something to the lowly folks who support them ... The Dems and their Proggessive handlers are dark and ugley and don't care who they destroy ...The Ron Paul Libertarians really are on the right track except for their foreighn policy, plus any vote for a libertarian right now is a vote for Obummer ...

About 35 years ago I had the unique experience of escorting a 94 year old cowboy on his first ever elevator ride at his doctor's office to get his heart pacemaker tuned up ... His name was Johnny Mullins ... He explained to me how important politics were at that time ( around 1979) and that his stance was the only logical way to approach government .. His platform was " Fix the roads, defend the coast, and stay the hell out of everyone's business" ... He ran on that platform for supervisor of Siskiyou County, Califonria... Unfortunately, he died before that vote happened, but he forever formed my view of the role of government in our lives ...Just an intereting tidbit of experience ... Cheers, Yer Unc in the Dubyah

Unc ... The old cowboy's view makes a lot of sense! :)

Joseph ... Not sure you needed that neighbor anyway ... glad you had an opportunity to break the mind numbing indoctrination the parents were laying on that child! :)

Either way it was a good one ... someone did that child right by allowing her to think things through for herself. And at such a young age she came to the right conclusion!
