Bunk's Military Button

Recommended Posts

Bunk stopped by this week to show me an interesting button he dug up recently here in Arizona with his Minelab CTX 3030. This was actually the first I had seen in person. It is a military Collar Disc button issued from 1902 to present. It's in great shape and is certainly a cool new addition to his growing collection. Way to go Bunk, thanks for sharing! :)

This came from a home/barn site that has history going back to the early 1900's. The place was leveled in the 70's and then plowed. It just looks like a empty lot these days. I found this site from old platt maps and google earth. Other interesting finds have been the amount of live ammo that was cut by the disc when the land was plowed.
