Terry Soloman 25 Report post Posted April 26, 2016 WOW! What a day here in White Plains! Standing silvers, Wheaties, Indian Heads, Buffalo Nickel, Toasted Large Cent, musket ball, 14K Gold and More! Really studied some old City maps and it is paying off in a big way. This all came from a small strip of land behind a luxury car dealership, at the base of Purdy Hill, where George Washington's troops escaped to after coming down Chatterton Hill and crossing the Bronx River, during the October 1776 battle of White Plains.
