Terry Soloman 25 Report post Posted October 21, 2017 Had a great four-days in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with my Honey, and got in a couple of hours of beach detecting with the little Tesoro Mojave. Unfortunately the Gold Coast is heavily sanded in right now, so mostly recent drops in the dry sand. 3 Mike Furness, Gold Seeker and frank c reacted to this
Tom H 28 Report post Posted October 27, 2017 Looks like a great time. Sure is pretty there. That salt water really does a number on coins! have you tried detecting some of the beaches on the Air force bases? Tom 1 Terry Soloman reacted to this

No, I don't have an in for the bases - and I don't know where they are. I just vacation down there, and visit my daughter and granddaughter in Lakeland, near Tampa. 1 Tom H reacted to this
Chris Gholson 1,076 Report post Posted November 2, 2017 Wow what a great view from the room; doesn't get much better than that! What's your thoughts on the Mojave? It seems to be a nice unit and is priced right, but I haven't logged any field time with it. Would it be one you'd recommend? 1 Terry Soloman reacted to this

The discrimination is second-to-none, and as I park and coinshooter it is fantastic. I recovered a nickel at 8" in the beach sand, so the depth of the 7" concentric is excellent. This machine replaced my Compadre, 1 frank c reacted to this
