bado1 121 Report post Posted March 4, 2018 I took the Equinox to an old rail road yard and ran it in Field 2 mode. Tried a couple of different Iron Bias settings and settled on 2. Speed setting 6... the iron trash is thick. The Equinox is incredibly fast and separates very, very well even wearing the 11" coil. I was able to pick some cool relics out of the iron including my first Indian Head Penny and a really odd shell casing... a .38-55. Early reports on the Equinox have been excellent on all fronts. Terry Soloman 25 Report post Posted March 5, 2018 I LOVE this machine. I have been writing a review, and have used it in heavily hunted areas to test the unmasking capabilities - Wow! 2 LukeJ and bado1 reacted to this

bado1 121 Report post Posted April 27, 2018 Got out yesterday and did a little old house and curb strip hunting. Really fun hunt as the owners were a great group of young guys doing some garage band practice. They gave me the run of the place and an invitation to go back. Found a little silver and some other neat old relics... Holy cow! The pics turned out huge with the new website format. Gonna have to resize differently. Chris Gholson 1,076 Report post Posted April 27, 2018 Great stuff Dean! I love all the ornate trinkets that those older properties have. The token is very cool. I'm wondering if those numbers represent an address, or perhaps some sort of serial number.

geof_junk 8 Report post Posted April 17, 2019 GREAT FIND, It is a slot machine token 1890 to 1940's Not worth the postage to get slabbed. Since it is worth .25¢ to 50¢ less in Quantity The numbers can go as high as 50,000 and stand for the individual machines ,machine operators or the businesses were located. The bow tie is a stock widget design used as a fill on any number of styles of generic tokens. There are thousands of different nu8mbers and hundred of thousands of tokens out there. Due to the number in use and the number of years used.
