  1. MT, As a fellow outdoorsman I think we can help each other. I operate a web site for book sales. Books are listed free. Upon a sale, I retain only 10% of the sales price. I have had a moderate success selling self-published PRINT versions of books such as yours. You receive a very good price for your book including shipping. Please take a look at the FAQ page on my site for details: http://wwwBlingBooks.com. I can list your books from the information you already have online. In addition to advertising your Print versions, I will show links to your eBooks and your p
  2. Thanks for all the kind words. Will keep an eye on you guys to make sure you are enjoying that 100 degree plus Arizona sunshine, while I am picking up coins with my Gold Bug II on the beach here in Virginia Beach, Va. between dips in the surf:>)
  3. The books are on the way. Put 'em in the mail today. Sent one to Jim Straight also, since he is sending me on of his. Enjoy!
  4. Thanks for your support. Just want to let you know that I have received a request to send the 3 free copies already and they will go in the mail tomorrow, with delivery in about a week. I am sending one to Mike F., Dwane (night Stalker), and Mike O. But Mike you didn't give me a mailing address. Please do so. I would appreciate any feedback after you read it.
  5. My sincere apologies to anyone who I may have offended by putting information regarding my book on this forum. I am an LDMA, GPAA Life, belong to the Weaver Club, and have spent three months a year at the Stanton LDMA camp for the past 4 years, where I got the idea for this writing. I agree that I probably made a mistake by mentioning it here, but don't take my birthday away guys. To prove my heart is in the right place, I will mail a free copy of my book to the first three people who request it. If you want to take a shot at reading it, send an email to: ron-hudson@cox.net. Just give

  9. Legend is that where there are king snakes, you will find no rattle snakes, as they kill them. In fact, once I saw a rattler and king coiled up together fighting.
  10. Here is one I built. I gave it away last year at Stanton. It worked great, but after using it for one season, I got Valley Fever. I used a mast, but still got the fever. I made this one for about $125 in parts from Home Depot. I found lots of flakes in the pile of dirt down the hill right at the LDMA camp. This one has a horizontal fan. The body is made from a sheet of roof top tin. Good Luck

  12. I'm coming from Virginia Beach, Va. I was in Stanton from Sep thru Oct, but had to return home to take care of some business. I really don't push it to 5 days most of the time I take 6 or 7 and fool around along the way. I have reservations now 17 Jan thru 7 Mar. I drive a motor home. See some of my pictures on my Facebook page: search on Ron Hudson.
  13. Leaving in a week for Stanton. Hope you folks didn't get all the gold out there yet. Takes me five days to cross the country and wouldn't like to be going for nothing. :>)
  14. Can someone give me some help. I have beeing trying to upload my Photo in my Change Photo option in my profile. I am trying to up load a 8.59 KB, 125x125, JPG file. I keep getting error message, Upload Failed, Contact Adminitrator. Now I know I am ugly, but to have a dumb computer refuse to take my pix is a real let down to my ego!
  15. With a little bit of mechanical and wood working ability, you could easily build your own dry washer. See pictures of the one I built with materials from the local hardware store.
